During the holidays, and really any time of the year, there are times when an elegant dessert is called for but you just don’t have a lot of time to prepare. I like to have a few options up my sleeve so I can produce a pretty and delicious dessert with just a few things from my pantry. This easy and festive Brownie Tiramisu is one such dessert and I am happy to share it with you today!
I’ll admit, with having 5 kiddos in my home, my kitchen is often stocked with things like pudding mix, whipped topping, and brownie mix but you might need to run to the store and pick up a few of the ingredients. If you are really short on time, you could skip baking brownies and buy ready-made to make this super quick.
This dessert looks and tastes like you spent a lot of time on it, but surprise!! It is so quick and easy, and a great option when you need to focus your time and attention on other menu items.
Now, let’s get to this easy brownie tiramisu recipe!
See? Easy Peasy and delicious too! You could also garnish with other berries like strawberries, blueberries or blackberries.
Also, here are some tips for switching this brownie tiramisu up a bit:
- Don’t like coffee or want a kid-friendly version? Switch out coffee for chocolate milk.
- These are easily made ahead (up to 4 hours) and popped in the fridge for quick and easy serving after dinner.
- Don’t have baking chocolate on hand? You can substitute for mini chocolate chips!
