Easter is such a special time of year and gathering around a table to enjoy a meal as a family is a cherished tradition. I fondly remember my grandmother standing in the kitchen, with my aunt’s and mother assisting. They were preparing an Easter feast while we played with cousins. I want my kids to grow up having fond memories of their mom preparing yummy Easter dinner recipes, and putting special touches on the table and decor.

I am a frequent shopper at The Fresh Market. I can always find quality, fresh ingredients whether it’s meat or seafood, fresh produce, baked goods, or other staples. Often when a recipe calls for a unique ingredient, I’ll go to The Fresh Market first because they always seem to have just what I need. During each holiday they also feature a unique selection of candy, decor, and other must-have’s to celebrate the season.
Every Christmas, Valentine’s and Easter, I make sure to shop at The Fresh Market early to get the first dibs on their seasonal specialty candy section. From gourmet chocolate to nonpareils and special jelly belly flavors, they really have it all, and I can find everything I need for my Easter dinner recipes.
When preparing for a holiday meal, I focus on three things first: the table setting, the centerpiece, and the menu. I’ve mentioned before that I am a collector of china and other dishes. It’s kind of a problem. But I honestly love having choices readily available and I really like to mix things up for every holiday or season. This year, I decided to use my Blue and White, but mix in pink to focus on a traditional Easter color. I pulled out an array of white bunny serving pieces and went from there!
For the centerpiece, tulips were at top of my list, because is it Easter without tulips? The Fresh Market had multiple colors to choose from and I was so happy they had pink! I love to mix in another flower to create multiples textures and layers, and The Fresh Market has so many options to chose from. I went with green and white hydrangeas. Tulips and hydrangeas, can you get any prettier? They are hard to beat!
For the menu, I wanted to stick with a traditional Easter menu. A honey ham is a favorite among my kids, and let’s be honest, I want something they will easily eat so I don’t have to force them to eat on a special holiday! Continuing reading for my full menu and a yummy glaze recipe for your traditional ham, but I’m super thankful that The Fresh Market not only had several different sizes but the hams come fully prepared with a honey and brown sugar marinade smoked over hickory hardwood. Doesn’t that sound amazing? It’s really, really amazing.
Ok, let’s get to the menu. We have curated the perfect Easter Dinner menu for you that includes everything you need. Meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, and an amazing dessert that is sure to impress, and hopefully make it easy to celebrate the season!

BROWN SUGAR MUSTARD GLAZE
Let’s discuss a few Easter dinner recipes. As I mentioned, The Fresh Market hams already have a very yummy taste, but if you’d like to add a glaze to your ham, here is a simple, very good glaze that will bring a great aroma and taste to your Easter ham.
BUNNY FRUIT DISPLAY
This fun bunny fruit display took all of five minutes to prepare and my kids LOVED it. They had a giggle seeing it on the table. Here is the simple recipe to make a creative fruit display for your table:
EASTER MINI CHEESECAKE DESSERT
For this simple, but amazing dessert, I purchased 8 mini cheesecakes, Lindt Chocolate Bunnies, and Easter Jelly Belly’s, and edible grass. I placed the cheesecakes in my tart dishes and added the Lindt Chocolate Bunny on top, pressing down to ensure the bunny would stay put. I then garnished with Jelly Belly’s, and finished the dessert by wrapping the bottom with edible green grass.
