With the month of Love finally here, I wanted to share this pink outfit idea with you. I think I say this about all the holidays, but Valentine’s Day is one of my favorites. I love getting to celebrate the special people in my life and have an extra excuse to tell them I love them. It’s fun to pull together a couple of outfits that are pink and/or red that can be worn to various functions and Valentine’s parties at school, etc.
PINK OUTFIT IDEAS FOR LOVE MONTH
Blush pink has to be one of my favorite colors. I love the softness of it, and it can really be worn all year long. I found this top at Target and it comes in lots of different colors. I think I will be going back to pick up a few more colors. It’s so soft that it feels like really soft pajamas, so it basically feels like you’re wearing pajamas all day! It also doesn’t wrinkle easily. It’s always frustrating when a fabric wrinkles easily, am I right?
The weather is going back and forth here, some days it’s 30 degrees outside, and some days it’s 65! It’s nice to have staple pieces in my wardrobe that can be easily layered or easily shed depending on the weather! I’m wearing a pair of my skinny jeans that I could basically live in, and I’m obsessed with these perforated booties.
I’ve styled this with my new Tory Burch bag. Can we just take a second to talk about this bag? It’s been on my wishlist for a long time and I hit a milestone with my blog and this was my reward to myself for all the hard work. Sometimes we’ve got to treat ourselves, right Mamas? I call that self-care! It’s a little bigger than I imagined but with five kids, snacks, changes of underpants and diapers and baby clothes, it didn’t take long to fill this baby up. It has five different pockets on the inside, and one pocket on the outside that is perfect for my keys and phone. You could also add an additional insert if you wanted to purchase something, but I’ve found this works just right for me as is. It’s the perfect color pink and will carry me into the Summer.
I’ve accessorized my pink outfit with rose gold jewelry here. All of these pieces are from Francesca’s, one of my favorite, reasonably priced boutiques. I also got these blush colored glasses at Francesca’s. My kids always seem to find their way to my sunglasses, so it’s hard to keep super expensive sunglasses in my purse right now. Sadly my Tiffany’s sunglasses, my favorite pair of sunnies ever, were stolen out of my car last year. So Francesca’s is the perfect price point until I decide it’s time to replace my Tiffany’s pair! There will come a day for that for sure!
