As we are searching for a new home, one of our priorities is having a dedicated space for a playroom. We want a versatile space that can double as a play area, craft area, and a media room as well. My kids are age eight, seven, five, three and 18 months, so while I want to decorate this space with my toddlers in mind, I want it to be functional for my older kids as well. I’ve been perusing both Pinterest and Houzz for ideas and I’m excited to share 20 of my favorite playroom ideas for toddlers.

Are you in love with all these playroom ideas as much as I am? There are some seriously talented people in this world! I love the bright colors but I also really enjoy the muted tones in the playrooms that feature neutral decor. For our playroom, I plan to have white walls and furniture, and I’d like to mix in pops of color with our accessories and wall art. I have been saving my kids’ artwork throughout the years to use on the walls and I cannot wait to get these sentimental pieces frames! I have also had my eye on these furniture pieces and accessories that go along perfectly these playroom ideas for toddlers.
And to fully update this post, I had to include our finished playroom. Here are a couple of pics, but be sure to head over the post to see the full remodel!
