I LOVE it when I find a dress that fits well and makes me feel great. This gorgeous red date night dress is perfect for your Valentine’s plans whether you are going out with your spouse, or you have plans with friends for Galentine’s. Since I’m typically found in yoga pants during the week, I love finding a fun dress and getting dressed up for date night. Isn’t it funny how a shower, a makeover, and fixing your hair can do wonders for how you feel? I’m all about self-care these days and taking a little time to feel like me in the midst of the chaos of raising a family.
We’ve been so busy lately between my growing blog, my health business, and my husband has been traveling quite a bit, that we haven’t had a date night in quite some time. I’m looking forward to getting a night out and having the chance to reconnect with him. I can always tell when it’s been a while since we’ve really talked. I can seem more irritable, and more short tempered. It makes the long days harder when we’ve not had a chance to connect, so I’m so excited about having that time…two adults, who fell in love, who created a family and a pretty amazing life together. We both feel so blessed with this life, and these kids we’ve been bestowed. I can’t imagine doing life with anyone else, and I’m just so thankful for how hard he works for our family, and with everything he does to help at home.
This amazing dress has the most gorgeous lace detail. I love the scalloped detail on the arms. This dress is a fit and flare and is very flattering. It has just a little bit of a swing to it, and I love the neckline. The back of the dress is really a show stopper…it’s all lace in the back so it’s a fun surprise. I think my husband will love it! I’ve styled this with black heeled booties and a black leather ruffled clutch. See my sources below!
